You had a very small audience for your performance tonight at Aberystwyth Arts centre which may be due to this being a dead period between the university year ending and the holiday season not yet started. However as a 69 years old I turned up to the performance to see what it was like. Taking into account the ticket price of £5 which is below what even amateur show charge, (which however do get support because local people are involved in them) and also the program write up , which inferred it was for very young children who would not be very discerning I was not inclined to go to the performance but decided to go because I had heard a comment by one of the stage crew the day before.
This is how I would describe you performance for which I would expect to pay between £10 and £20 per ticket, £5 for children and £5 for an adult accompanied by 4 children
A new multi skilled performance for children between 2 & 92 by a Canadian group. It is an electrifying combination of dance, dialogue, mime & special effects, with a live concert pianist accompaniment and a multi talented cast who dance, play instruments and tell stories all at the same time with energy humour and charm and amazing skill. This is a performance (in the tradition of another famous Canadian export “Circus de Soleil”) which will leave you breathless.
